History
Built in 1985 by Gladding-Heron Shipbuilding, the Sandy Hook is a former Sandy Hook Pilots launch boat. While the vessel accommodates 12 passengers, she is currently USCG-inspected to carry up to six passengers. Configured with two berths and a full galley, this high-speed aluminum vessel is incredibly versatile and ideally suited for pilot launches, crew transfers, search and rescue operations, and a wide array of specialty marine missions
Vinik Marine acquired her in 2026 from the Sandy Hook Pilots.
