History
The Capt. Marco was built in 1961 in St. Charles, Louisiana. Commissioned for Twenty Grand Marine Service, Inc., she was originally christened the Longhorn and remained in active service in Louisiana for 21 years.
In 1982, she transferred ownership to the Southern Dredging Company and relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, where she operated as the Captain George.
In 2020, the vessel continued her northward journey to a new homeport in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, when she was purchased by Coastline Marine Inc. and worked under the name Osprey.
Vinik Marine purchased her in 2025 where she was named Capt. Marco, after our esteemed Captain Marco Velez.
