History
The Capt. Kyle was built in 1974 by Gladding-Heard Shipbuilding Inc. of Somerset, Massachusetts where she was christened the Taurus for Tisbury Towing and Transportation.
In 2018 she was renamed the Kodi by her new owners, Coastline Marine of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.
Vinik Marine purchased her and re-christened the boat the Capt. Kyle in 2025 after our esteemed Captain Kyle Holmes.
